Award for Exceptional Performance

Mercon receives award from Nexen

On 11 August 2009, Mercon received an Award for Exceptional Performance from Nexen Petroleum UK Limited for the manufacturing and on time delivery of four mudmat and pile sleeve assemblies for the Buzzard nhancement Project.

Nexen’s Construction Manager, Mr Andy Barker stated: “The work performed by Mercon, was to a very high standard, was executed safely and responsible and on schedule. In addition all communications were undertaken in an honest and open manner.’’

Mr Willem Griffioen, Managing Director of Mercon is very pleased with this award and hopes to continue the good relation with Nexen.
