International standards and codes are continuously studied in order to comply with the latest regulations concerning quality assurance and safety.
Mercon holds the following certificates:
Mercon’s Quality Management System has been approved by Lloyd’s Register for the design, engineering, manufacture and installation of multidisciplinary projects for off- and onshore industries, storage systems and infrastructural works, including associated welding controls in accordance with the requirements of ISO 3834-2:2005.
EC Certificate of Conformity with the PED issued by Lloyd’s Register for the development, fabrication and certification of pressure vessels and piping systems in carbon, stainless steel, duplex and super duplex.
Certificate issued by GSI SLV, assuring that Mercon has the capabilities and quality management systems in place to carry out welding activities on steel structures designed for dynamic loading.
Including DIN 4112 (temporary structures), DIN 4119 (Storage tank constructions); DIN 15018 (Cranes); DIN 18808 (steel structures made from hollow sections)

Qualification as supplier to the North Sea Oil industry
Certificate of Approval that the whole Mercon organization works in accordance with the SCC standards for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Our QHSE policy exceeds international standards and guarantees that all customers requirements are met, all processes are properly controlled and continuous improvement is pursued. Mercon’s employees participate in Advanced Safety Audits and Safety Observations. Also QHSE feedback sessions are organized for the entire staff. Furthermore a STOP card system gives the employees the opportunity to report unsafe situations and/or suggest improvements.
