Mercon Holding B.V. consists of two operating companies: Mercon Steel Structures B.V. and Mercon Montage B.V. Mercon Steel Structures serves the offshore and infrastructural industry whereas Mercon Montage is dedicated to the construction and maintenance of steel tanks and industrial installations.

Mercon Steel Structures has a Libyan branch for offshore activities in Northern Africa and has formed a joint venture with Ostrov in Russia.
